Mardi Gras has been a passion of Stanwycks Photography for over 23 Years. Many of the Parades line up in front our our studio and we are right there in heart of it all! Mardi Gras Season is Coming... A Magical time for New Orleans! New Orleans Photo, Stanwycks Studios offers Mardi Gras Workshops. The Workshops start at the Tchoupitoulas Street Studio, in the Uptown area of New Orleans.
Many Parades are scheduled on the Weekends of Mardi Gras... There are two weekends of Mardi Gras and Mardi Gras day...
About Vicki Stanwycks
Vicki Stanwycks the owner of New Orleans Photo - Stanwycks Photography, has been shooting Mardi Gras parades for years with her team of photographers and assistants, shooting the Uptown Parades that roll on St. Charles Ave and all through Canal Street.
The Studio's Mardi Gras Workshops give attendees a front row seat - so to speak, as they begin right in front of the studio. Depending on the weekend you choose, the parades roll right in front of the studio and some not so far away. Much walking and running is involved in our Mardi Gras Workshops... But it's worth it as you are right there!
Mardi Gras Workshop Logistics
You bring your own gear, we supply some food, Lunch and snacks, for the weekend workshops. Mardi Gras day we have food and drinks at the Workshop Van. We give you a schedule and work with in the time limits the city has set forth, knowing when the roads and streets are opened and closed. Logistics when it comes to Mardi Gras are crucial and we know the when's and where's because we have been shooting Mardi Gras for more than 23 years.
Mardi Gras Is A Holiday
For some, attending one of our workshops for Mardi Gras is like a holiday onto itself, like Photography Christmas... Mardi Gras Workshops are geared towards travel photography for all shooting levels especially for those who want to create better images on the fly.
Clients must supply their own Cameras, Gear, Tripods, flashes, etc... We are with you every step of the way helping you create images that represent Mardi Gras. This is truly a unique way to see Mardi Gras and enjoy the experience, the sights, the people and the Music... And make great Images.

It has become a New Orleans tradition to get your Mardi Gras pictures from New Orleans Photo will be different. Vicki Stanwycks has been giving Mardi Gras Workshops for the last three years and again this year as advertised on-line and in Arthur Hardy's Mardi Gras Guide.
Every years since Digital photography was developed, Vicki Stanwycks and her team of photographers have gone into the uptown areas of New Orleans and covered every Mardi Gras parade providing coverage for no charge, creating images of your Mardi Gras experience.
